Senior / Principal Structural Engineer

Contract Opportunity - Immediate Start - Initial short-term contract potential to extend

We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join a technically challenging topside brownfield project. This is a remote contract opportunity working with a multi-disciplined team of specialists delivering engineering and design solutions in the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Structural analysis and design for topside and brownfield projects
• Prepare calculations and documentation using Mathcad
• Model and analyse structures in STAAD
• Support project delivery from concept through detailed design
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design integrity and compliance
• Contribute to technical reviews, quality assurance, and HSE compliance

Essential Requirements:

• Proven structural engineering experience in topside or brownfield projects
• Strong proficiency in Mathcad and STAAD
• Solid understanding of structural design principles, codes, and standards
• Experience in offshore or heavy industrial environments preferred
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
