Senior / Principal Highway and Infrastructure Design Engineer - ManchesterLocation: ManchesterSalary: 46,000 - 65,000 DOEType: Full-Time PermanentThe OpportunityAn established, employee-owned international engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior or Principal Highway and Infrastructure Design Engineer to join its growing team in Manchester.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced highway engineer to take a leading role within a highly respected transport and infrastructure group, delivering highways, drainage and infrastructure schemes across a varied portfolio of complex projects.You''ll work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment alongside transport planners, engineers and designers, with the opportunity to take ownership of projects, lead technical delivery and contribute to the continued growth of the Manchester team.The RoleYou will take a leading role in the design and delivery of highway and infrastructure projects, from concept and feasibility through to detailed design and technical approval.Key responsibilities include:Leading the delivery of highway, drainage and infrastructure design packagesManaging projects and technical workstreams through the approval processDelivering Section 278 and Section 38 highway schemes, with knowledge of Section 104 and 106 agreementsProducing and reviewing detailed designs using AutoCAD and Civil 3DApplying relevant standards including DMRB, Manual for Streets and drainage guidanceReviewing ..... full job details .....
