The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior / Principal Electronics Engineer to join a well-established and growing engineering business in the East Midlands. This role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge clean technology projects for the automotive market, with excellent career progression prospects.

• Lead the design and development of analogue electronic circuits, from concept through to production.

• Carry out schematic capture using Altium Designer (experience with other CAD/EDA tools also considered).

• Support the full product lifecycle, including prototyping, validation, and design reviews.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, reliable, and sustainable solutions for the automotive sector.

• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers where required.

• Strong background in analogue circuit design (essential).

• Proficient with Altium Designer (other CAD/EDA tools acceptable).

• Experience in circuit analysis, simulation, and validation.

• Knowledge of automotive standards / clean tech applications desirable.

• Strong problem-solving ability and a hands-on approach.

• Salary up to -55,000 depending on experience.
