Hays are now looking for a Senior / Principal DevOps and CloudOps Engineer for one of our local retail clients: 700 - 800 p/d Inside IR35 (depending on level)3 days p/w in the office, rest is WFHLocation is BuryWe are looking for a Senior or Principal DevOps and CloudOps Engineer to design, build, and evolve our enterprise CI/CD and cloud infrastructure frameworks. Working closely with Engineering, Product, QA, Security, and Reliability teams, you will help deliver secure, scalable, automated, and high-performing cloud services while enabling development teams to deploy with greater speed and autonomy. What You''ll Be DoingDesign, build, and continuously improve enterprise CI/CD pipelines and DevOps frameworks.Select and implement the right tools, processes, and automation to streamline software delivery.Drive adoption of DevOps best practices across engineering teams and onboard products onto shared platforms.Build and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud infrastructure in AWS.Implement observability, monitoring, and operational insights across multiple environments.Improve deployment processes, reduce friction, and enable self-service capabilities for development teams.Support cloud and infrastructure incident response, ensuring rapid service restoration.Develop solutions that provide visibility into cloud costs, resource utilisation, and FinOps metrics.Maintain infrastructure currency, supporting upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.Define and ..... full job details .....
