This is a role with genuine scope to make an impact, taking ownership of projects, working directly with clients and helping shape the continued development of the civil engineering team. The successful engineer will be involved in a varied range of projects, leading civil engineering design from feasibility and planning through to detailed design and construction. Responsibilities will include highways, drainage, earthworks, external works, levels and infrastructure, together with drainage strategies and SuDS where appropriate. The role will also involve client and stakeholder liaison, technical checking, project management, mentoring junior engineers and contributing to fee proposals, tenders and business development.
