Senior Pricing AnalystWe are looking to employ a Senior Pricing Analyst to be based in London to work with us on a 12 month fixed-term-contract. You will support the provision of actuarial pricing support to MRSL.You will work closely with underwriting, data, and strategy teams to design, implement, and refine pricing models and frameworks that support profitable growth and innovation.Responsibilities

Working closely with the MRS-GM pricing team based in London along with Underwriters based in London, Ireland, Spain and Germany to develop a robust pricing framework supporting the European expansion project.Assess current available pricing models and their suitability for the proposed portfoliosDevelop and implement pricing models for new lines of business, ensuring alignment with underwriting strategy and risk appetite. Initially focusing on Property and Property and Casualty (PandC) combined productsCollaborate with underwriting, claims, and data teams to gather insights and ensure robust data quality and assumptionsSupport the build-out of pricing infrastructure, tools, and governance frameworks in new office locationsProduction and review of pricing and portfolio management information to enable the performance monitoring of new portfoliosInvestigation and utilisation of alternative data sources for parameterisation of pricing modelsEnsure all advice offered is in line with TAS requirementsHelp drive forward good Conduct for the business to deliver the best outcomes for customers / policyholdersKnowledge and Skills

Pricing experience in General InsuranceExperience with Property insurance and/or PandC combined products an advantageHighly developed mathematical / statistical knowledge in (re)insuranceEffective communication skills and ability to translate complex models in business termsStrong business acumen and interpersonal skillsTeam player and willingness to train junior members in the teamDetailed knowledge of actuarial methods and techniques, and the ability to apply them in practice, making reasoned judgements within a business environmentKnowledge of a range of modelling techniques and applications for pricingKnowledge and understanding of FCA and/or European regulationsKnowledge and understanding of the underlying principles of insurance and reinsuranceDiversity, Equity and Inclusion
