Senior Practitioner- Learning Disability-Southampton

Social Worker required to join as an Senior Practitioner to work within the Learning Disability Team in the beautiful city of Southampton. Competitive rates of pay with a basic rate of up to 32-35ph. 37 hours per week. 3 month minimum contract with options to extend. Flexible working We are looking for a registered (SWE) qualified experienced social worker who has experience of LD and if possible has previously worked in Southampton City Council and is understanding of our internal systems and processes already. Candidate needs to be: - Experienced in Care Act Assessments, Reviews and Support plans -confident chairing best interest interest meetings/S42 planning meetings -Experience supporting less experienced colleagues -Experience of completing complex Mental Capacity Assessments and best interest pathways -Confident and experienced on leading on S42 safeguarding enquiries -Experience in Court Work, especially Com DoLS -Accountable and able to manage time effectively and complex caseload -Accountable for recording in line with GDPR -Ability to manage conflict in a high pressure area of work You will be Social Work England registered, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK As an Eden Brown Synergy candidate, you can take advantage of our competitive service offering: Dedicated personal and professional service.
