A leading commercial international law firm is looking for a Senior PR and External Communications Manager to join their London office. The successful candidate will support in developing measurable PR plans and broader external communications, to support the firm’s sectors and overall strategy. This role works closely with the Internal Communications and broader Marketing team, reporting into the Head of Marketing Communications.The Responsibilities:Collaborate with the Head of Marketing Services to improve processes across all PR and Communications activityWork closely with Internal Communications colleagues to develop and deliver multi- channel communications campaignsStay updated on news developments for the firm to exploit and achieve defined business goalsManagement of negative PR to reduce business impactTake ownership of media relations activity for target media, and maintain good relations with critical journalistsManage the firm’s relations with PR agencies and conducting tender processes as requiredAssist with copywriting and copyediting to ensure content is consistent, liaising with production team where relevantLine manage and develop Senior PR ExecutiveThe Candidate:Previous experience working within a legal/professional services firmIdeally strong existing relationships with key target mediaExcellent editorial and writing skillsPlease note : Due to the specific sectors we work in, only candidates with valid work experience in a Law Firm, Accountancy Firm, Management Consultancy, Property/Construction Firm, Financial Services Firm or a high profile relevant Association or Agency will be considered.
