Senior PowerBI Developer

An established and well-known UK organisation is looking to appoint a Senior BI Developer to join its Business Intelligence team. This is an opportunity to play a key role in developing and expanding a growing Power BI capability. The business has a long-standing BI environment and is now investing in modern reporting, giving you the chance to influence standards, shape best practice and drive adoption across the organisation. The role You will be responsible for delivering high quality, end-to-end BI solutions using Power BI. This includes designing, building and maintaining dashboards that support business decision making. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation, translating requirements into meaningful visual outputs, while ensuring data quality, performance and scalability throughout. Key responsibilities include:Designing and developing interactive Power BI dashboards and reportsManaging the full lifecycle of BI development from requirements through to deploymentBuilding robust data models using DAX, Power Query and MEnsuring strong governance through testing, documentation and version controlWorking with multiple data sources including SQL databases, cloud platforms and APIsEngaging with stakeholders to gather requirements and present insightsProviding user training and guidance on dashboards and reporting toolsThe environment You will be part of a central BI team supporting a large and varied business.
