Senior Power Electronics Engineer

Overview We re working with a specialist engineering organisation looking to appoint a Senior Design Engineer to support the delivery of complex electronic and mechanical design projects.This role sits at the heart of engineering and manufacturing, ensuring designs are robust, compliant, and optimised for production. You ll play a key role in driving projects from concept through to delivery, while supporting cross-functional teams and mentoring junior engineers.Key Responsibilities Manage design projects to deliver against specification, budget, and timelinesWork closely with sales and internal teams to translate technical requirements into deliverable designsEnsure compliance with design gate processes and provide status updates to stakeholdersProduce and review system-level designs, schematics, and PCB layoutsCarry out simulations, analysis, and component selectionGenerate and manage technical documentation including data packs and specificationsSupport production teams with design for manufacture, testing, and debuggingLead and participate in peer reviews to ensure design quality and complianceOversee test verification activities including ATP, FAI, and FAT processesMaintain and manage component libraries and configuration controlDrive continuous improvement across design and manufacturing processesSupport cross-functional teams including quality, procurement, and project managementMentor and develop junior engineers, graduates, and apprentices Key Requirements Strong ..... full job details .....
