Location: Stroud | Salary: £50 - £65/hour Outside IR35 | Type: Contract | I''m recruiting for a growing engineering business who design electromechanical products for use in harsh environments across the globe. They''re looking for an experienced-Power Electronics Engineer on a 6 month contract (high chance of extension) to take a few products through concept/R&D to prototype and release. The work involves designing BMS, low-voltage electronics and power supplies for use in ruggedized environments. ROLE:- Power Electronics Engineer LOCATION: Stroud, Gloucestershire RATE: up to -65ph (Outside IR35) DURATION:- 6 months Skills required for the role are: Knowledge of designing BMS Understanding of power electronics in harsh environments (heat, temp, pressure, shock) Experience and willingness to work-in fast, dynamic R&D environment O&G, Electric vehicles, aerospace, avionics or-autonomous vehicle industry exposure beneficial- Although the role is Outside IR35, the work must be completed- on-site 100% -due to nature of the team and business.
