Senior Power Electronics Engineer

I''m recruiting for a growing engineering business who design electromechanical products for use in harsh environments across the globe.

They''re looking for an experienced-Power Electronics Engineer on a 6 month contract (high chance of extension) to take a few products through concept/R&D to prototype and release.

The work involves designing BMS, low-voltage electronics and power supplies for use in ruggedized environments.

ROLE:-Power Electronics Engineer

LOCATION: Stroud, Gloucestershire

RATE: up to -65ph (Outside IR35)

DURATION:-6 months

Skills required for the role are:

• Knowledge of designing BMS
• Understanding of power electronics in harsh environments (heat, temp, pressure, shock)
• Experience and willingness to work-in fast, dynamic R&D environment
• O&G, Electric vehicles, aerospace, avionics or-autonomous vehicle industry exposure beneficial-

Although the role is Outside IR35, the work must be completed-on-site 100%-due to nature of the team and business.
