Working: The role is office based with occasional travel to other company sites in the UK. Office site presence, anticipated 2/3 days onsite, depending on project needs.The Power Electronics Engineer role is one that offers you the opportunity to work on sophisticated and technologically advanced projects, allowing you to improve your technical skills and broaden your leadership capabilities. It covers the Product Life Cycle from concept through to transfer to Production, including support to industrial validation and ensuring that the product meets its quality, rate and cost targets. The Power Electronics team is responsible for circuit design, prototyping, testing and integration/design proving of hardware, datalink and communications systems, as well as providing embedded computing resources for larger Command and Control systems.
