Senior Policy Research Manager – PermanentSalary: £45,000 - £47,000 per annum, plus benefits. Location: London N1.Full time – 37.5 hours a week. We are a hybrid working employer, meaning you are required to come into the office at least 2 days per week (currently Tuesday, and Wednesday or Thursday).Closing date:

Role overview

We are recruiting a Senior Policy Research Manager to lead WCRF’s flagship policy tools, including NOURISHING, MOVING and the Blueprint for Cancer Prevention. You will translate the latest science into actionable policy recommendations, deliver high-quality research projects, and represent WCRF externally to maximise our and international impact.

Responsibilities

Lead WCRF’s flagship policy tools (NOURISHING, MOVING and the Blueprint for Cancer Prevention).Translate the latest science into actionable policy recommendations.Deliver high-quality research projects and outcomes.Represent WCRF externally to maximise international impact.Work across teams and with external stakeholders; develop innovative approaches, including exploring new methods such as AI.Manage policy tools or research projects; build collaborations and engage senior decision-makers.

Qualifications and requirements

Strong policy research expertise and experience in evidence-based advocacy.Ability to turn complex science into clear policy solutions.Innovative approach and openness to new methods (e.g., AI).Skilled at working across teams and with external stakeholders.Proven track record in managing policy tools or research projects, building collaborations and engaging senior decision-makers.Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder skills.
