Senior PLM Engineer

PLM Administrator and Change Controller Location: Cambridge (site based) Employment: Permanent, full time Overview An established technology business developing complex electronic products is seeking an experienced PLM Administrator and Change Controller to manage product data, configuration and engineering change processes. Working closely with development engineering, operations and external manufacturing partners, you will maintain the integrity of product data, control bills of materials and revisions, and support the administration and continuous improvement of the company''s Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system. Key Responsibilities Administer and support the company''s PLM system, resolving database issues and coordinating system enhancements and application patches. Create, implement and maintain PLM workflows to improve business processes and operational efficiency. Identify opportunities to improve PLM administration, data management and associated procedures. Support the transition to a new master data PLM system. Create, check and release product data packs, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project schedules. Establish and maintain product bill of materials (BoM) structures within the PLM system. Manage product configurations and variant BoMs, including regional variants and configurable product options.
