Senior Planning Officer

Carrington West are assisting their

local authority

client based in the

south west of England

in the search for a

Senior Planning Officer;

this will be offered on an

i

nitial 3-month basis then rolling, with a monthly on-site requirement.

The successful candidate will be expected to have sufficient experience supporting a local authority Development Management team. We are looking for an

experienced officer

to progress a mixed caseload of Householder and Minor applications including residential schemes of between 3-4 dwellings, change of use, and listed buildings to name a few.

The contract offered is for a

rolling 3-month contract.

The council are looking for candidates who will be able to hit the ground running and are

offering flexible working arrangements.

A comprehensive working knowledge and experience of Development Management is essential. It would be beneficial to hold a Planning Degree or equivalent Planning qualification and full membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute, although this is not mandatory.
