Senior Planning OfficerLocation: Harrow, Forward Drive, Harrow, HA3 fPay Rate: £38 per hour UmbrellaContract: 6-Month Rolling ContractWorking Arrangement: HybridWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Planning Officer to join on a 6-month rolling contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a planning professional with strong development management experience to work within a busy local authority environment.Main Duties: Processing a varied caseload of planning applications, including complex minor applications and small-scale major developmentsManaging lawful development certificates and prior approval applicationsCarrying out site visits and assessmentsProviding duty planner and pre-application advice servicesPresenting applications and recommendations at Planning Committee meetingsManaging appeal casework and preparing supporting documentation Requirements: Previous experience working within a local authority planning teamStrong knowledge of UK planning legislation and development management processesExperience handling complex planning applications independentlyExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to manage a busy and varied caseload effectively This role offers hybrid working arrangements alongside the opportunity to work within a supportive and dynamic planning team.To find out more information please contact Halle at (url removed)Recruitment is done in line with safe recruitment practices.
