An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to join a dynamic consultancy on a major infrastructure project.

As a Senior Planning Engineer, you''ll work closely with the client-side project management team, taking ownership of programme oversight and assurance for the project''s main contractors. You''ll be instrumental in driving progress, ensuring programme integrity, and providing expert planning advice on this high-profile, complex infrastructure scheme.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee, review, and challenge contractors'' programmes in Primavera P6
• Interface directly with the client and key stakeholders, providing clear programme reporting and analysis
• Manage programme assurance activities to maintain control over project delivery timelines
• Ensure compliance with NEC contract requirements relating to time and programme management
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on a major infrastructure project of national significance

About You:

• Proven experience in a planning role on major infrastructure projects
• Advanced Primavera P6 skills, with a track record of programme management on complex, multi-package projects
• Strong working knowledge of the NEC suite of contracts
• Confident, articulate, and capable of engaging effectively in a client-facing environment
• Ability to challenge, advise, and influence contractors and stakeholders at all levels
