      <description>Location: Ipswich | Salary: &amp;pound;55000 - &amp;pound;65000/annum | Type: Permanent | Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to support the tendering and planning of civil engineering projects. The successful candidate will use their technical knowledge and site experience to develop effective construction programmes, assess delivery strategies and ensure tender submissions meet project requirements.     Key Responsibilities       Review tender documentation and identify the most effective construction methods and delivery strategies.       Explore alternative construction methods and work closely with tender teams to develop practical solutions.       Assess subcontractor proposals for buildability and compliance with tender requirements.       Prepare construction programmes and supporting documentation for tender submissions.       Ensure programmes reflect project constraints, risks and delivery requirements.       Provide technical advice on construction methods, engineering challenges and programme development.     Keep up to date with industry best practice, innovations and relevant legislation.      Requirements       Extensive experience working on civil engineering projects.
