Key Responsibilities Provide lead specialist professional and technical advice to ensure building work and other development within the county complies with approved plans and conditions, regulations, codes of practice, approved standards and Council policies. Identify appropriate methods of remediation where necessary. Manage planning enforcement cases, including evaluating evidence, liaising with colleagues and external agencies, and preparing reports with recommendations for delegated decisions and appropriate action. Prepare reports and attend Committees, court hearings, public inquiries, site visits and other meetings as required, including presenting evidence.
