Senior Planner

As we continue to grow our project portfolio, we are looking for an experienced Senior Planner to join our team based in Peterborough, supporting projects across the Anglian Water region.

As a Senior Planner, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of major water infrastructure projects, supporting project teams from tender stage through to completion. Working closely with Project Managers, Design Teams, Commercial Teams and Delivery Partners, you will be responsible for developing, managing and maintaining robust project programmes that support safe, efficient and timely project delivery.

The role is based in Peterborough, with regular travel to project sites and offices across the Anglian Water region.

About you

We are looking for a driven and collaborative planning professional who thrives in a project environment and enjoys working closely with operational teams to deliver successful outcomes.

You will have:

• Proven experience as a Planner or Senior Planner within civil engineering, infrastructure or water sector projects.
• Experience developing and managing complex project programmes from inception through to completion.
• Strong working knowledge of planning software such as Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
• A relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience working within NEC contract environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project sequencing and programme controls.
• The ability to work under pressure, prioritise effectively and manage multiple workstreams.
• A proactive, self-motivated approach with strong initiative and problem-solving skills.
• A commitment to health, safety, quality and continuous improvement.
