Senior Planner (Sustainability, Energy and Infrastructure Projects) Location: London Gatwick (Hybrid - 3 days office / 2 days remote)Job Type: Permanent (Full Time)Salary: Circa £76,000paBenefits: 5% Welcome Bonus, £4,750 Flex Allowance, Up to 20% Annual Bonus + Excellent Benefits The Role: As a Senior Planner within the Sustainability team, you will support the delivery of Gatwick''s sustainability and decarbonisation programme across a portfolio of major capital projects. Working on schemes typically valued at £20m+, you will develop and manage project schedules that support carbon reduction, energy efficiency, and infrastructure improvement initiatives. Projects may include boiler and chiller replacement programmes, mechanical and electrical upgrades, high-voltage infrastructure works, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, renewable energy projects, and water management schemes focused on recycling and reducing consumption. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain integrated project schedules using Primavera P6. Support the delivery of sustainability, energy, and decarbonisation projects. Monitor programme performance, critical paths, risks, and recovery plans. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders. Support projects involving MandE asset replacement, energy infrastructure, water recycling, and EV charging networks. Provide planning expertise and promote best practice across the programme team.
