Our client, a reputable company specialising in infrastructure, is seeking a Senior Planner to join their team. This permanent role is based near Northampton, working on HS2.
Responsibilities
Lead the Planning function to prioritise and coordinate construction and design activities
Maintain delivery of the main Civils Works contract
Build, optimise, and update project plans during project execution
Assist on all scheduling related matters internally and externally with the client
Undertake all planning activities and work to improve and optimise Construction Project Plans
Collaborate closely with the area lead and subcontractors
Job Requirements
Experience using Primavera P6
Experience in a similar position within a construction environment
Demonstrable experience and knowledge of planning and scheduling techniques
Understanding of NEC3 contracts
Excellent Excel skills
Knowledge of the O365 package
Recognised professional membership (e.g., ICE, APM, PMP)
Hold a Full Driving License and have access to a vehicle
