Senior Planner

Our tier 1 Water sector contractor are looking for Planners and Senior Planners to support on their Anglian Water alliance on a permanent basis supporting on major AMP8 capital delivery projects based out of Peterborough.Whilst leading and developing a team towards planning excellence, you''ll ensure the project plan and programme are kept on track with any mitigating circumstances successfully overcome. By using your knowledge and expertise in planning, you''ll build the trust and confidence of key stakeholder by delivering project updates backed up by value- added data which can contribute to delivery improvements.ResponsibilitiesLead collaborative digital planning and production meetings to ensure clarity of requirements and expectations.Develop and maintain detailed project plans in accordance and AW requirements.Liaise with delivery teams to ensure consistency in methodology and outputs.Proactively identify opportunities and risks and explore mitigation strategies.Develop 4D animations of project plans to aid in digital rehearsal of construction.Gather progress information and communicate effects on key dates, challenging the team to deliver on time.Attend site regularly to gather program update information.Communicate critical paths and key activities in team meetings.Advise the team on priorities to prevent activities from becoming critical.Attend meetings as required and provide project-specific reports as needed.Maintain planning standards and adhere to published ..... full job details .....
