Senior Planner - Life Science - Outside IR35

Senior Planner with experience of working on major construction projects such as pharmaceutical, data centres, manufacturing plants etc required for contract (outside IR35) or permanent position.

The role will see you join a London based market leader and work on various new-build construction, fit-out and equipment commissioning projects in Hertfordshire.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing, maintaining and managing detailed project programmes from design through to completion
• Planning and monitoring new-build construction, fit-out and equipment commissioning activities
• Working closely with project managers, contractors, consultants and specialist suppliers
• Tracking progress against approved programmes and identifying potential delays or project risks
• Preparing planning updates, progress reports and schedule analysis for project stakeholders
• Supporting project delivery across pharmaceutical, data centre or complex manufacturing environments
• Reviewing sequencing, dependencies, resources and key project milestones
• Providing planning advice to support effective decision-making and successful project delivery

• Significant experience as a Senior Planner within construction, engineering or capital projects
• Experience of pharmaceutical projects is highly desirable, with complex manufacturing or data centre experience also considered
• Strong project planning and programme management skills
• Understanding of new-build construction, fit-out and equipment commissioning activities
• Ability to analyse project progress, identify schedule risks and develop mitigation plans
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple project priorities
• Willingness and ability to work onsite in Ware three days per week
