Title: Senior Planner Location: Cardiff (3 Days Site / 2 Remote)Salary: 70-90,000 + packageA leading UK main contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join the team delivering a major 100m infrastructure project in Cardiff. This is a key role on a high-profile scheme, where you will take ownership of the planning function and play a pivotal part in driving successful project delivery.Working closely with the Project Director and wider delivery team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the construction programme using Primavera P6, ensuring it is robust, accurate and clearly communicated across the site team. You will provide critical planning insight, monitor progress, identify risks and ensure the programme supports the overall project strategy and delivery objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the project planning functionDevelop, maintain and oversee the Primavera P6 construction programmeWork closely with the Project Director and site teams to ensure programme alignmentCommunicate programme strategy and updates effectively to stakeholdersMonitor progress, identify risks and implement mitigation strategiesSupport programme-related aspects of NEC contract managementRequirementsStrong UK civil engineering experience within a main contracting environmentProven track record as a Senior Planner on infrastructure projectsAdvanced Primavera P6 skillsExcellent understanding of NEC contractsStrong communication and stakeholder management ..... full job details .....
