Title: Senior PlannerLocation: ManchesterSalary: up to 100,000 + packageAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Planning Engineer, or an ambitious Planner looking to take the next step, to join a leading UK contractor based in Manchester.You''ll join an established and highly experienced planning team with a strong order book of exciting new build and major refurbishment projects across Manchester and the wider North West. With a diverse portfolio of schemes typically valued between 50m and 300m, this is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to major projects across a broad range of sectors and play a key role in their successful delivery.Working as part of the project planning function, you''ll have significant involvement in the delivery of major schemes, working closely with the Project Director, Project Manager, site management and wider commercial and design teams. You''ll be responsible for developing and managing robust construction programmes, monitoring progress, identifying risks and opportunities, and providing effective planning solutions to ensure key project milestones are achieved.We''re looking for a planner with a strong UK main contracting background and proven site-based planning experience on major construction projects. You''ll have a thorough understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing and project delivery, together with strong Asta Powerproject skills.
