Title: Senior Planner Location: Cheshire (hybrid)Salary: 70-85,000 + packageAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Planning Engineer, or an ambitious Planner ready to take the next step in their career, to join a leading UK contractor on a major 500m infrastructure project in Cheshire.This is a key appointment within the project team, with responsibility for overseeing the planning function and working closely with the Project Manager and site delivery team to drive successful project delivery. You''ll take ownership of the construction programme, providing detailed planning support, monitoring progress and ensuring the project remains on track against key milestones.The successful candidate will have a strong civil engineering and infrastructure background, ideally gained within a UK main contracting environment. You''ll be an advanced user of Primavera P6, with the ability to develop, manage and analyse complex construction programmes. A strong working knowledge of NEC contracts is also essential, with the confidence to provide planning input into programme changes, risk, compensation events and wider contractual matters.This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Planner looking to step into a more senior position and take ownership of the planning function on a major infrastructure scheme.
