Scope of Work: A new role within the planning team of a major contracting company, working on tendering and live project delivery of renewables and energy projects within this successful, growing business unit.

Turner Lovell is recruiting a Senior Planner to join a leading, multi-national engineering services company in Ireland. This is a brilliant opportunity for the right individual to join a well established, highly regarded business that is experiencing growth in their renewables business unit through their success in the market. This role can be based in either Dublin or Newbridge, and there is a hybrid working model available of 1-2 days per week working from home once established in the role.

With the support or the wider team, your responsibilities will include:

• preparing and articulating competent plans for any scale of project that comply with functional procedures and standards and contribute to business success.
• preparing a resourced programme, including reviewing the outcome for conformance with expectations and requirements.
• contributing to the risk register and undertaking programme risk analysis.
• preparing resource schedules for use at review; preparing visual material in support of planned methods.
• managing personally controlled project documentation in an orderly fashion.
• drawing up a bid preparation programme and contribute to the tender queries database.

The ideal profile is someone with:

• A minimum of 5 years of Planning and Project Controls experience within the Construction and Engineering industry
• Previous experience of engineering contracting and working on site.
• Active experience of working with a wide range of planning techniques in serving both tendering and contract delivery.
• A clear understanding of the commercial and contractual interfaces with the planning function.
• Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
