Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting our client, a leading multi-disciplinary environmental and planning consultancy, in their search for a Senior Planner to join their dynamic Dublin office.

Our client has built a strong reputation for delivering expert planning solutions across sectors such as infrastructure, renewable energy, residential, and commercial development. With a collaborative culture and a focus on excellence, they are looking for an experienced planning professional who can take the lead on diverse and challenging projects.

The Role
As a Senior Planner, you will manage and deliver a variety of planning projects from inception to completion. This includes preparing and submitting planning applications, managing appeals, conducting site appraisals, liaising with clients and stakeholders, and ensuring all work meets the highest quality standards. You''ll work alongside a talented team, contributing to the company''s continued success while also having the opportunity to mentor junior colleagues.

Requirements

• A recognised degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning or a related discipline

• 5+ years of post-qualification experience in a planning role, preferably within a consultancy environment

• Strong understanding of Irish planning legislation and processes

• Proven track record in managing projects and delivering to tight deadlines

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
