I''m working with a highly regarded and well-established residential developer who is looking to expand their strategic planning team with the appointment of a Senior Town Planner.

About the Role:
As Senior Town Planner, you''ll play a key role in identifying, promoting, and securing planning permission for large-scale residential developments across the Midlands and surrounding regions. Working closely with the land, technical, and design teams, you''ll be the planning expert in a collaborative and commercially savvy environment.
You''ll be responsible for:
Managing the planning process for strategic and immediate land opportunities
Preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals
Coordinating external consultants and managing project timelines
Engaging with local authorities, communities, and key stakeholders
Advising on planning risks and opportunities for new land acquisitions
What We''re Looking For:
MRTPI qualified (or working towards)
Strong experience in residential planning-either from consultancy, local authority, or developer background
Proven ability to manage planning applications and appeals, ideally for large sites
Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships internally and externally
A good understanding of the UK planning system, with an eye for commerciality
