Required experienced construction project planner required for working on live civil engineering project who is an advanced user of P6.
You must be able to understand NEC protocols and able to implement time impacts, compensation events and general programme principles via the contractual requirements.
A good understanding of construction and can lead / initiate workshops and meetings with supply chain and key project team members.
Has proven track record of construction experience of at least 3-5 years and either has HNC or degree background in construction engineering or similar.
Roles includes the following tasks:
Prepare and maintain cost/ resource loaded schedules in P6
Participate and support the project teams in project and programme planning and progress meetings
Identify and maintain programme / project milestone and schedule interface activities
Support the planning and scheduling processes that are required to manage contracts and contractor schedules
Support the programmes progress and reporting requirements
Adhere to NEC contract processes for management of schedule data and submissions
You must have strong experience of:
- Practical construction experience in rail, bridges, structures and general construction and groundworks
- Primavera P6 Programming
- Production of tender programs and program narratives.
- NEC contract experience
- Good communication skills-
- Experience in performing, monitoring, and reviewing planning and scheduling functions, which include schedule integration, milestone management and reporting, progressing.
