Senior Planner

We are supporting our client in the search to appoint an experienced Senior Planner to support the delivery of major energy and power construction projects across the UK. This role will suit a confident Senior Planner who can take ownership of programme strategy, as well as a capable Senior Planner ready to step into a broader leadership position. Working across substations, grid infrastructure, renewable energy developments and power generation schemes, the Senior Planner will be responsible for establishing, managing and maintaining robust construction programmes from pre-construction through to completion. The successful Senior Planner will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely on time and in line with contractual requirements. Key Responsibilities of the Senior Planner Developing and managing detailed construction programmes using Primavera P6 Leading planning strategy from tender stage through to project completion Carrying out critical path analysis and identifying programme risks and opportunities Producing and maintaining integrated master programmes Preparing short-term lookahead programmes and progress reports Supporting commercial teams with programme input for NEC contracts Managing delay analysis, change control and extension of time submissions Attending and leading planning and progress meetings Mentoring junior planners where required Requirements of the Senior Planner MUST HAVE RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UK WITHOUT SPONSORSHIP ..... full job details .....
