Senior Planner

We are seeking an experienced Senior Planner with a strong background in power projects, specifically with expertise in overhead lines or civil engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing detailed project schedules to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of complex power infrastructure projects. This role requires a thorough understanding of project planning principles within the power sector, including the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, identify risks and opportunities, and implement mitigation strategies. The Senior Planner will lead the planning process from tender through to project completion, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and industry best practices. Mentoring junior planners and fostering a collaborative team environment will also be key responsibilities. The role demands excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with project managers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

Skills:
Proven experience in planning power projects with overhead lines or civil engineering
Advanced knowledge of project scheduling and planning methodologies
Strong risk identification and mitigation skills
Ability to develop and maintain detailed, logic-driven project schedules
Experience leading and mentoring junior planners
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Competence in interpreting technical drawings and project documentation
