Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role located in Exeter, (or our other offices in Birmingham, Cardiff or London) with flexibility for some remote work, for a Senior Planner. The Senior Planner will be responsible for leading planning projects, developing planning strategies and policies, preparing planning applications, and liaising with clients and stakeholders. The Senior Planner will also provide mentoring and guidance to junior staff members while ensuring all work is delivered on time and within budget.
Qualifications
Extensive experience in the town planning sector
Knowledge of relevant planning legislation and regulations
Experience in leading planning projects and developing planning strategies and policies
Ability to prepare high-quality planning applications and appeals
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in liaising with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience in providing mentoring and guidance to junior staff members
