Senior Planner

An inside IR opportunity exists for a Planner/Senior Planner on major infrastructure/energy projects countrywide. Working closely with delivery, engineering, commercial and client teams, you will provide expert planning support from tender stage through to project completion. In particular, your contact and cost loading knowledge during the Engineering/Procurement/Construction/Commissioning phase, would be advantageous. Key Responsibilities Programme Development and Management Produce, maintain and manage fully integrated, resource-loaded project programmes throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure schedules are logically linked, achievable and aligned with delivery objectives. Monitor programme performance and proactively address any emerging issues. Tender and Bid Planning Develop high-quality tender programmes and delivery strategies that support successful bid submissions. Present planning approaches and programme solutions to internal stakeholders and clients. Project Controls and Delivery Support Manage and monitor contract programmes to ensure project performance remains aligned with commercial and operational requirements. Assess programme changes, evaluate impacts and support the implementation of effective recovery strategies where required. Identify critical activities and key project risks, implementing mitigation measures to protect delivery milestones.
