Senior Planner

Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Planner to join the delivery team on a major, long-term civil engineering project valued in excess of £100m. This is a key planning position supporting a complex five-year construction programme incorporating major earthworks, structures and marine works. This position would particularly suit an experienced Planner or Senior Planner who started their career in site engineering/construction delivery before moving into planning. The combination of site experience and planning expertise is important. We need someone who can look beyond activities on a P6 programme, understand how the works will actually be constructed, challenge sequencing and methodology, and build a credible programme from the ground up. The position offers a salary of £70,000 to £100,000 per annum plus package, with the final offer determined by the candidate''s experience, technical capability and expertise. As Senior Planner, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and managing the construction programme throughout the project lifecycle, working closely with the project management, engineering and commercial teams.
