Interim Senior MEP Planner

Location: Manchester / North West
Working pattern: Hybrid – 2 days per week in the office
Contract: Interim or Permanent (candidate dependent)
Rate: Up to £550.00per day 

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior MEP Planner to join a leading Tier 1 MEP contractor on an interim basis, supporting multiple projects across the North West.

This is a key planning role working across a number of live projects, including major healthcare schemes, with the opportunity to take ownership of programmes and work closely with project teams across the region.

The role:

• Develop, manage and update detailed MEP programmes across multiple projects

• Work closely with Project Managers, Commercial and Engineering teams to monitor progress

• Identify programme risks, delays and opportunities for recovery

• Provide accurate reporting and programme updates to senior stakeholders

• Support project teams with planning, sequencing and programme strategy

• Potentially provide support and guidance to other planners, although direct line management is not essential

• Work closely with the Regional Planning Manager for the North West

We''re looking for:

• Strong experience as a Planner / Senior Planner within an MEP environment

• Strong mechanical and electrical construction knowledge

• Experience working for a Tier 1 MEP contractor is preferred, but not essential

• Proven ASTA Powerproject experience – essential

• Experience managing programmes across multiple projects

• Strong understanding of MEP sequencing and construction delivery

• Healthcare project experience would be advantageous

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

This is a great opportunity for an experienced MEP Planner who is comfortable operating at Senior level and can quickly take ownership of multiple programmes within a busy regional team.
