Senior Planner

Attention all Senior Planner''s!We are looking for a skilled Senior Planner to join a global engineering and construction firm, in a long-term contract role, outside IR35. You will be required to attend our client''s office in Glasgow, at a minimum of 3 days a week.This is a great opportunity to work on an exciting range of power transmission and distribution projects, with an experienced team.-Competitive day rate ranging from 450 to 550 (depending on experience).-Hybrid working arrangement.Key Responsibilities:-Develop and manage schedules for UK HV substation projects, including tender and design phases.-Deliver project control services: scheduling, prioritisation, reporting, and earned value management.-Interpret drawings, use critical path methods, assess delays and changes, and support risk management.-Understand client needs, provide tailored solutions, and maintain strong communication.-Work with internal/external teams, contribute to industry groups, and uphold safety and environmental standards.What we are looking for:-Relevant degree level qualification.-Extensive experience as a Planner, within the power transmission and distribution industry, as well as experience within the HV sector.-Skilled in creating National Grid schedules (NGET TP 193).-Strong communication skills.-CSCS card is essential.-Knowledge of Primavera P6, MSP and other systems. ..... full job details .....
