Senior Planner

Morson Edge are working with a well known organisation who are seeking x2 Senior Planners to be based in London and to work within the clients Water/Utilities division. Role - x2 Senior Planners Locations - London (Beckton OR Hampton). Salary - up to £75k + Bens Experience needed - MUST have an Engineering background/qualification and have worked within Civil Engineering or Water. Directly reporting to the Senior Planning Manager, Their responsibility is to assist other members of the project teams to develop, monitor, progress and report on tender and contractual programmes. This includes ensuring that both the operational and commercial members of the team are fully briefed on the critical activities and risks of their projects at all times.The Senior Planner will be required to work closely with the commercial department to monitor costs, take ownership of several project plans, drive the project team to deliver to the plan and challenge any delay and deviation. Leading, coaching and guiding junior Planners, you ll be viewed as an approachable planning expert who is keen to pass on experience and knowledge to develop others and drive performance improvement.Essential: Experience in planning of civil, MandE projectsKnowledge of current HSE practices and CSCS card holderExperience of working with NEC3/4 contractsCompetent in the use of Microsoft software and applicationProficient in use of Primavera P6 planning softwareExcellent communication skillsAbility to identify risks ..... full job details .....
