Senior Piping Engineer

Piping Engineer | FEED | Offshore Energy | Norwich (Hybrid - 3 days on site)I'm currently supporting a specialist offshore engineering organisation in their search for an experienced Piping Engineer to support the piping engineering and design delivery of a Minimum Facilities Jacket Platform FEED project based in Norwich.

This role will suit an experienced piping professional with a strong background in offshore topsides piping design, FEED execution and Oil & Gas engineering projects.Key Responsibilities:

• Produce piping engineering deliverables including drawings, BOMs, schedules, specifications and technical documentation
• Design piping systems and equipment in accordance with ASME/API standards
• Review and check engineering drawings, providing technical input and constructive feedback
• Provide technical input into project scopes, design development and engineering queries
• Develop equipment package designs, design specifications and technical drawings
• Interface with multidisciplinary teams, procurement, suppliers, vendors and subcontractors

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 5 years' experience within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or a similar industry
• Strong experience in offshore topsides piping design and engineering
• Experience working on both greenfield and brownfield developments
• Knowledge and practical experience of ASME/API piping standards
• Experience with piping systems up to ASME Class 2500
• HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Piping, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline

Desirable:

• Previous experience delivering offshore FEED and detailed design projects
• Experience preparing construction work packs and certification documentation
• Experience carrying out onshore and offshore site surveys
• Experience supporting Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Integration Tests (SIT)
• Experience providing technical support to procurement and project teams

This is an excellent contract opportunity to play a key role in a significant offshore FEED project, working with a collaborative and experienced multidisciplinary engineering team.
