Job summaryWe are seeking a skilled Band 6 Senior Physiotherapist to join our Acute and Emergency Medicine Therapy Team. Our Therapy department is full of opportunity for enthusiastic and highly motivated Therapists wishing to expand their skills in the exciting area of acute medical care. You would be working on the acute medical wards within a Multidisciplinary Team. We pride ourselves on providing excellence in care for all of our patients under guidance of highly respected organisations such as the British Geriatrics Society (BGS) and National Institute of Health and Care Excellence (NICE).This role is an opportunity to provide innovative and comprehensive assessment to a wide range of patient demographics arriving on the acute medical units, ensuring a wide range of skill acquisition will be achieved. You will have the opportunity to assess and treat a wide range of patient cohorts; frailty, falls, major trauma, dementia, delirium, musculoskeletal injuries, trauma, respiratory, neurological conditions and other acute or long term conditions.Main duties of the job
