This is a remote role that you can do from any EEA country.We are looking for a Senior PHP Developer to launch products that help millions of tech founders and deliver billions of dollars to their startups.On a typical day as a Senior PHP Developer, you will:

Implement new products and features for our platform, either using our Symfony-led frontend architecture or at times delving into alternative productsPerform code reviews for your peersParticipate in spec reviews for new developments, weighing in on the feasibility, cost, and complexity of the features discussedParticipate in discussions regarding code reusability and maintainability or improving architecture and workflowsDesired profile

Minimum 6 years of experience in software developmentExpert in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript;Extensive experience with OOPKnowledge of design patterns: factory, strategy, repository, etc.Familiar with web security and potential vulnerabilities: Cross-Site Scripting (XSS),MySQL injection, CSRF, etc.Comfortable writing complex MySQL queriesExperience with Symfony, Laravel, or Zend/Laminas PHP Frameworks and GitFamiliar with PSR coding standardsFamiliar with NoSQL databases: MongoDB, Redis, etcFamiliar with full-text indexing solutions (ElasticSearch, Sphinx, etc.)Familiar with PHPStorm IDEIndependent and self-motivatedAn interest in solving hard and diverse problemsInterest in building web applications capable of servicing millions of usersAbility to write clean, organized, reusable codeAbility to work with an existing codebase, but willing to incrementally improvethings over timePerks
