HW Electronics Engineer for Production 12 Month Contract Cambridge 3-4 Days Onsite Join a company transforming vision into reality, developing cutting-edge technology for animal care and management. You''ll be part of the team building the next generation of a connected wearable product, working within a multi-site programme alongside teams in the US and Israel. This is a key role in the Engineering department, sitting at the intersection of NPI, production, and full product lifecycle support, working closely with RandD, contract manufacturers, and worldwide operations teams. Responsibilities Lead hardware changes on new and legacy products, including EOL and layout updates Lead DFx and NPI procedures for new products Lead failure analysis and reliability testing across critical product design aspects Act as component engineer for new and existing products Support design validation to ensure products meet quality and reliability standards Support worldwide production floors and report results to peers and management Lead compliance activities across safety and radio standards Requirements Deep understanding of electronic design and DFM Understanding of multidisciplinary product design 5+ years'' experience with worldwide compliance and regulations Knowledge of electronic components, PCB/PCBA design and assembly, batteries, RF, IR, and testing methods including ATE Strong hands-on hardware, embedded interfaces, and system-level integration experience Experience working in ..... full job details .....
