Senior Payroll Technician

Permanent Post 38-42k per annum depending on experienceHybrid working Central London Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Technician to join their busy teamDuties include;Process and review employee data, attendance records, and high-volume payroll data.Calculate wages, overtime, deductions, and bonuses manually.Ensure compliance with tax regulations, working laws, and company policies are correct.Prepare and distribute payslips and payroll reports.Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data in payroll systems.Respond to employee enquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and benefits.Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure data accuracy.Assist with audits and generate reports as needed.Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations.Assisting with complex payroll and pensions queries.You will have;Proven experience in payroll processing and have strong payroll legislation knowledge.Familiarity with payroll software and ability to gather data required for finance.Strong understanding of UK payroll regulations and tax laws.Excellent numerical and analytical skills.High attention to detail and confidentiality.Proficient in Microsoft Excel including vlookups and pivot tables.Knowledge of pension schemes and statutory payments (e.g., SSP, SMP).Able to complete manual calculations, including gross to net calculations.Experience with automated timekeeping systems.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.If you have all of the above ..... full job details .....
