Senior Payroll Specialist

The Company Able Bridge Recruitment are working with a prominent accountancy practice in the recruitment of a senior payroll advisor for their Edinburgh office. This role is a result of growth and will be based in the Edinburgh office on a hybrid basis. You will report into the payroll manager and will be working within a team of collaborative and collegiate colleagues. The ResponsibilitiesThe purpose of this role is to provide payroll services to a portfolio of clients ensuring that all of your clients are paid on time and correctly. You will also be accountable for the correct processing of pension contributions for your client group as well as being responsible for the correct level of tax/employee NI contributions that are due. On a day-to-day basis you can expect to be responsible for the following;Providing a payroll service to clients on a weekly, fortnightly, and monthly basisUploading payslips and other information to SAGE online documentsProcessing employee information and preparing payslipsCreating, evaluating, and submitting reports to clients.
