Senior Payroll Practitioner
Be the expert others turn to. Make a real difference to payroll delivery.We are looking for an experienced Senior Payroll Practitioner to join our Managed Services team in Birmingham. This is a hands-on, senior role for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, supporting others and raising the standard of payroll delivery.You will be a go-to expert for complex payroll queries and escalations, while also playing a key role in developing colleagues, improving processes and shaping how payroll services are delivered across the business.This role works closely with teams in the UK, ROI and India, so collaboration, knowledge sharing and consistency are central to what you will do.Working PatternThis is a full-time, permanent role operating in a hybrid working pattern. You will be required to attend the Birmingham, Rubery office two days a week. What you will be doingTake ownership of complex and urgent payroll queries and escalations, providing expert guidance and resolutionSupport and mentor colleagues at all levels through floor walking, side-by-side coaching and targeted trainingKeep up to date with changes in payroll and HR legislation, tooling and customer expectations, sharing insight with the wider team and managementEmbed new legislation, processes and ways of working into operational teamsReview payroll processes and identify opportunities to streamline and improve them through automation and transformation activityMaintain training and skills matrices to highlight ..... full job details .....
