Senior Payroll Clerk
Butler Rose is exclusively recruiting a Senior Payroll Clerk for a well-established organisation based in Yeovil.This is a fully office-based position, offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to take ownership of high-volume payroll operations within a supportive and stable environment.Reporting to the Head of Payroll, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of both weekly and monthly payrolls, while supporting and developing a team of Payroll Administrators.Key responsibilitiesManage weekly and monthly payrolls end-to-endReview and validate payroll inputs, including salaries, benefits and deductionsProcess statutory payments including PAYE, National Insurance and pension contributionsMaintain accurate employee payroll records and ensure data integrityEnsure compliance with payroll legislation and internal policiesConduct payroll audits and resolve discrepanciesSupport complex pay structures and timesheet processesRespond to payroll queries from employees and stakeholdersSupervise, coach and develop Payroll AdministratorsProduce payroll reports and support internal stakeholdersAbout youProven experience in a Senior Payroll or similar roleExperience managing high-volume payrolls for a minimum of 600 employeesStrong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and compliancePrevious experience supervising or mentoring team membersAbility to reliably commute to YeovilConfident user of ExcelWhat''s on offer25 days annual ..... full job details .....
