Senior Oracle DeveloperLocation: GlasgowWorking Pattern: Hybrid, 2 to 3 days per week onsiteClient: Financial ServicesDuration: 01 July 2026 to December 2026 Rate: Up to £300 per day inside IR35Key Responsibilities* Design, develop, test, and maintain Oracle database solutions.* Develop and enhance Oracle SQL and PL/SQL code, including stored procedures, packages, functions, triggers, and views.* Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into robust database solutions.* Support the maintenance and improvement of existing Oracle-based applications and data processes.* investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve database and application-related issues.* Perform SQL query optimisation and database performance tuning.* Support data migration, data cleansing, and data transformation activities where required.* Work closely with business analysts, developers, testers, infrastructure teams, and project stakeholders.* Produce and maintain technical documentation, including design notes, support documentation, and code specifications.* Ensure development work follows agreed standards, governance, and change control processes.* Support testing, defect resolution, release activities, and production implementation.* Provide technical guidance and support to other members of the team where required.Essential Skills and Experience* Strong commercial experience as an Oracle Developer or Senior Oracle Developer.* Excellent Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development skills. * ..... full job details .....
