You will serve as the technical lead overseeing mission-critical database platforms, driving cloud modernization, automating infrastructure, and handling major incident escalations.Key RequirementsCore Oracle: Strong production experience with Oracle 12c/19c on Linux and AIX.High Availability and DR: Deep expertise in Oracle RAC (ASM, AFD) and Data Guard setups.Cloud and DevOps: Hands-on experience with public cloud (OCI or AWS) and writing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and Ansible).Migrations and Backup: Advanced RMAN backup/recovery, alongside migration tooling (Data Pump, GoldenGate, ZDM).Security and Governance: Implementation of TDE, TLS encryption, and secure cloud network segregation.Incident Management: Proven ability to lead incident triage and provide out-of-hours support when required.Role RequirementsBased on-site 3 days per week in either Blackpool or Newcastle.Flexibility to join a scheduled out-of-hours on-call rota.To ...
